Born 1961 in Athens, British and Greek citizen. Graduated from the school of Computer Science in 1985 from National Technical University of Athens. From 1985 till 1986 worked as visiting Scholar at Stanford University, USA. From 1986-1992 worked as Research Assistant at Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, U.K. where he received a Ph.D. In 1992  founded ICON Ltd in the UK, a software company based in London with presence in Japan, Germany, USA, Czech Republic and UK. In 2000 created Steficon, where he is the Managing Director.

Has worked as External Examiner for Multimedia for the British Ministry of Education (1996-2000), General Manager of Pegasus Interactive (2000-2002) and film production (2012-today).

Member of the Managing Committee of Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and the Greek Board for Culture and Heritage (ELLET). Winter with Valmira, Michael’s 6th feature film, will be presented in the Work in Progress section of the Marche du Film in Cannes, 2021.
